Arms and Armour

This section contains images of some of the arms, armour and artillery in the Museum’s collection, including the royal armours of the Tudor and Stuart kings; arms and armour of the English Civil War from Littlecote House; British and foreign military weapons from the Board of Ordnance and Pattern Room collections; hunting and sporting weapons, and oriental arms and armour.

This section contains images relating to the Museum’s collection of prints and drawings, paintings and portraits, maps and plans, early photographs, stereoscopes and lantern slides relating to the Tower of London and its institutions, such as the Tower Armouries, the Board of Ordnance, the Menagerie, and the Crown Jewels.
